In the world of high-performance cars, the Callaway name is one of the best. This means they only choose the best cars to make them even better. Next on the Callaway list is the Chevrolet SS.
We don’t have much information about this supercharged model yet, but we do know the SS will get the SC570 Callaway performance kit. This should boost its output from 415 to an amazing 570 horsepower! It also gets a boost in torque, bringing the total to 535 lb-ft.
This performance kit should also bring the 0-60 mph time down to a mere 4.5 seconds and let you finish a quarter-mile run in12.4.
To get this amazing piece of machinery, it’ll cost you $18,695 after you purchase the Chevrolet SS. This price will give you a Callaway 3-year/36,000-mile warranty, liquid-to-air intercooler, increased flow intake system, Eaton Roots-style TVS supercharger, low restriction exhaust, and Callaway badging, among other goodies.
If you take the plunge and get your Chevrolet SS supercharged by Callaway, be sure to come visit us at Clements Chevrolet and let us take a look under the hood.
You want your vehicle to last, right? Of course you do, especially if that vehicle is a pickup truck that you need to do your job. Chevrolet hears you loud and clear, so the Detroit automaker puts its Silverado through the most rigorous durability testing imaginable.
Chevy Silverado Endures 12.5 Million Miles of Durability Testing
From the sub-zero cold of Kapuskasing, Ontario to the blazing desert heat in Yuma, Arizona the Chevy Silverado has been through it all. Throw in the extensive torture tests at the GM Milford Proving Ground in Milford, Michigan, and the Chevy Silverado has withstood more than 12.5 million miles of durability testing to ensure it works when you need it to.
“It takes refinement and testing to build the strength that our customers expect and rely on from their trucks,” said Phillip Hubler, vehicle system engineer, in a press release. “Our philosophy with the 2014 trucks was to improve what needed to be improved and leave alone what was already considered world class.”

Chevrolet has announced that additional models equipped with Chevrolet MyLink will now be available with Siri Eyes Free integration, the intelligent assistant developed by Apple that lets users perform a variety of tasks with their iPhones using only the power of their voice.
Using the Chevrolets’ MyLink infotainment systems with a compatible iPhone running iOS 6 or iOS 7 will let drivers perform many tasks while keeping their hands on the wheel and eyes safely on the road. Some of the available actions include making calls, playing songs from an iTunes library or switching to radio, accessing calendars and appointments, and even listening to, composing, and sending text messages.
The models also come with six months of OnStar’s premium Directions and Connections service, which adds safety and connectivity with services such as Automatic Crash Response, Stolen Vehicle Assistance, and Vehicle Diagnostics. Buyers who own a non-Apple smartphone can still download the RemoteLink Mobile App, which lets OnStar subscribers control and manage several vehicle functions from their phone—like locking the vehicle, flashing the lights, and even honking the horn.
Siri integration and OnStar will be available on the 2014 Camaro, Cruze, Equinox, Malibu, SS, and Volt. Come by Clements Chevrolet to check them out.
Recently at the 2013 SEMA (Special Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Chevrolet introduced the baddest beast they’ve ever created. The special Black Ops edition Silverado was a huge hit. This intimidating truck looks like it could handle just about any unforeseen emergencies if they were to arise.
The first thing that stands out about this special Silverado Crew Cab 4×4-based vehicle is like dark, sinister look and feel. The next thing you’ll notice is how well-equipped this black monster is. It offers more strength and better performance, and plenty of safety features. It includes custom-built lower body armor and a lockable, bed-mounted Truck Vault storage unit. Mounted atop the storage unit is a fuel can, a water can, and a generator. There is also a crate stocked with enough food and supplies to handle whatever mother nature brings. In addition, there are gas masks, a solar power pack, military First Aid Kia, a folding shovel, and rope.
“Luck favors the prepared and the Silverado Black Ops concept is a survival kit on four wheels,” said Chevrolet design manager Dave Ross. “This concept truck showcases the stronger, smarter and more capable elements of the 2014 Silverado and how accessories can enhance them to suit any lifestyle.”
The Consumer Digest knows quality when it sees it, especially when it comes to the 2013 Chevy Equinox. For the fourth time in as many years, the Equinox has won a Consumer Digest Best Buy award, proving that it is one of the most valuable compact SUVs on the market.
For over 48 years, Consumers Digest has been awarding automobiles for outstanding value. Through an examination based on behind-the-wheel assessment, safety ratings, costs of ownership, the vehicle’s comfort, among other characteristics, the popular consumer magazine decides which cars on the market provide the best value for their price. Those that make the cut, receive the Best Buy award.
“Value, as we see it, is based on the purchase price and ownership costs relative to quality, performance and subjective factors, such as comfort and design,” said Randy Weber, publisher of Consumers Digest.
With its versatile MyFlex rear seating, class-leading legroom, and a starting price of just $24,225, it’s no wonder the Equinox was honored this model year. Check out the 2013 model at Clements Chevrolet today!
Chevrolet just unveiled the 2015 edition of both vehicles that make up the industry’s best-selling full-size SUV duo. The 2015 Tahoe and the 2015 Suburban both made their debut this week. Both vehicles feature several upgrades to the interior and exterior. Included are new safety features, more advanced technologies, greater refinement, and more functionality than ever before.
Both vehicles are redesigned with an updated styling that helps make for a quieter, more peaceful ride. Thanks to improved aerodynamics and a direct-injected EcoTec3 powertrain, one can expect better fuel efficiency even though official estimates have not been released.
“There are several new features and enhancements at the core of the all-new 2015 Suburban and Tahoe that will extend the legacy Chevrolet has built as the segment leader,” said Tim Mahoney, Chevrolet global chief marketing officer. “Customers will experience greater refinement, efficiency and safety with the same capability that has made Chevrolet the go-to brand for full-size SUVs.”

In each of the past two years the Chevy Volt scored higher than any other vehicle according to Consumer Reports owner satisfaction survey. It’s clear the Chevy Volt offers a whole lot of value at a great price. Well, that price is only getting better. Chevrolet announced the new 2014 Volt will have a starting base price of $34,995 including a $810 destination fee.
“We have made great strides in reducing costs as we gain experience with electric vehicles and their components,” Johnson said. “In fact, the Volt has seen an increase in battery range and the addition of creature comforts, such as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and MyLink, since its launch in 2010.”
Owner of a Chevy Volt who regularly charge their car can drive up to 900 or more miles between fill-ups and only need to stop for a gas fill-up maybe once a month. The new Volt offers an estimated 98 MPGe with 35 MPG city and 40 MPG highway. Drivers could enjoy savings of around $900 or more per year when it comes to fuel expenses.
“The lower price and cost savings from driving on electricity provide Volt owners an unmatched balance of technology, capability and cost of ownership,” said Don Johnson, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet sales and service. “The 2014 Volt will offer the same impressive list of features, but for $5,000 less.
