Three Chevrolet Models Win First Place in J.D. Power Survey

J.D. Power and Associates conducted their annual APEAL survey, and Chevrolet had three vehicles finish in first place in the survey. The study measures how happy customers are with owning and driving their new car or truck after 90 days of ownership in terms of styling, performance, and design. The three Chevrolet models were the Sonic, Volt, and Avalanche.

Responses were recorded between February 2012 and May 2012 from 74,000 customers that bought or leased a new 2012 model-year car or truck. Chevrolet was the only car brand that had 3 models earn a top spot.

The 2012 Sonic is a small subcompact car that was new to the Chevrolet lineup in 2012. Available as a hatchback or sedan, the Sonic is an affordable and functional vehicle that earns great gas mileage and has a sporty styling.

One of the most innovative vehicles on the market today, the 2012 Chevrolet Volt is also fuel-economy-friendly, allowing drivers to use gasoline, electricity, or both to optimize driving range. Along with its functionality, the Volt also has great handling and performance for a hybrid car.

A full-size pickup truck, the 2012 Chevrolet Avalanche comes with a long list of standard features, including a powerful V8 engine. A spacious interior and a folding midgate are just a few of the innovative and popular features of the Avalanche.
